Mark and Henry return to Orange tree yoga in Edinburgh to teach their combined relax and restore 75 minute class a practice of restorative poses to give us a doorway into our own unique stress response , working with our nervous system , helping us to move towards a balance and more calmer space, followed by a yoga nidra practice, sometimes known as yogic sleep

Workshops

Grounding in to stillness - a yin workshop at triyoga Ealing

We invite you to a stilling two-hour workshop to cultivate a deep sense of awareness through the release of mind and body stresses – slow the yin down, with Henry Morgan and Mark Ruck.

The practice will be slow-paced, using breath, meditation and longer held supported yin postures to apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body, increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility, calming the nervous system while paying
attention to our minds.

In this workshop, the focus will be on the meditative aspects of yin yoga to deepen mindful practices, promote stress reduction and nurture both body and mind. Students will befriend the breath to let the body settle into poses to increase flexibility, mobility and muscle recovery, whilst finding deep calm and ease both in the body and the mind.

Whether you are new to yoga or have years of experience, this workshop is the ideal opportunity to slow it all down. Take some time for yourself and discover how wonderful it can feel to let go and surrender into stillness. The physical body will feel spacious and open, creating a sense of calm and ease within.

Henry and Mark will use their yoga teaching skills as well as their own life journeys to provide a nurturing space to explore mind and body awareness, and provide tools to thrive in modern life.
